Board of Directors

  • Mary Ellen Lehmann

    Rose Castle Foundation USA Board President, 2022-present

    Mary Ellen Lehmann is the President and a member of the Board of Directors.  Since 2023 she has been the Director of Children, Youth and Family Ministries at St. Michael's Church on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.  From 2014 through 2022 she held a similar position at another Episcopal Church in Manhattan.  Previously she was a Speech Language Pathologist in private practice and has both Bachelors and Masters degrees in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Arizona.

  • Michael Lehmann

    Rose Castle Foundation (USA) Board Treasurer, 2022 to present

    Michael Lehmann is the Secretary and Treasurer and a member of the Board of Directors.  He is a partner with the law firm Dechert LLP and has been in private practice, with a specialization in nonprofit law, since 1987.  He has an AB from Brown University and law degrees from Columbia University and New York University.

  • Piers Hedley

    Piers Hedley is a member of the Board of Directors. Piers Hedley has a background in corporate finance and has been working since 1987 as a consultant for International Ultra High Net-Worth families. He has a very successful track-record offering strategic advice to entrepreneur-owners and has assisted them through large-capital markets transactions. Mr. Hedley also acts as a non-executive ‘chairman’ for a number of private companies owned by clients. In addition, he provides pro-bono services to a range of charitable organisations, including his family’s charitable activities.

  • Ann Noel Dawson

    Ann Noel Dawson is a member of the Board of Directors.  She has worked in development and alumni relations for a number of private schools in the Northeast U.S.  She is active in the Archbishop of Canterbury's Anglican Communion Fund, St. Paul's Within the Walls American Episcopal Church in Rome, and other Anglican/Episcopal organizations.  She has a BA from Williams College.

Advisory Board

  • Sharon J. Hardy

    Dr. Hardy serves as an adjunct Assistant Professor in the Higher Education Administration (HEA) program.  Currently serving as the University Dean for Admissions and Recruitment at The City University of New York (CUNY), she brings extensive expertise in leadership roles across undergraduate and graduate recruitment and enrollment in both private and public higher education institutions.  She has a Ph.D. in Urban Education and Leadership from The City University of New York's Graduate Center.

  • Michael Bos

    Dr. Michael Bos is a pastor, author, and interfaith proponent. He is the senior minister of Marble Collegiate Church in New York City.  He has been a leader in inter-religious education and collaboration for thirty years. In New York City, he is a founding member of NYC’s Interfaith Affordable Housing Collaborative, which brings together the financial resources and expertise of the faith community to develop affordable housing. He is also a founding member of the NYC Scriptural Reasoning Network, which engages Muslims, Christians, and Jews through the heart of their traditions.  He has a Master of Divinity from Western Theological Seminary and a Ph.D. in Leadership from Duke University Divinity School.
